Why Does Oil Matter

Oil is a part of our every day lives. From cooking to driving. You use oil every day, without oil we wouldn't be able to do half the things we do in our days. Since we use oil every day we are running into the problem of having an expiration date with how much oil we have left. "Lifeblood of the industrialized nations Oil has become the world's most important source of energy since the mid-1950s." We are turning to other forms of energy to use for cars and heating homes, but we still need the oil for every day things like:
-Coating pills
-Binding agents for cream
-Medical devices
-Contact lenses
-Cosmetics
-Clothes
-Paint
-Credit cards
-Shopping bags
-Non stick pans
-Anything plastic
-office supplies
-Pesticides
-Fertilisers
-Sports equipment

These are just a couple of things that we haven't found other ways of creating without oil. These are also every day things we use.
